Shocking is the testimony of Afghan pop star Ariana Sagid about the dramatic moments she lived with her husband in their attempt to escape from Kabul after occupation of the city from the Taliban.

Sagid and her husband are in Los Angeles, but they are worried about the people left behind.
“Things are desperate. They have been left without food, shelter and live in fear of the Taliban. “My soul hurts,” she said, referring to relatives and friends who failed to leave the country.
