Shocking complaint of doctor – protester in Columbia: I was 5.5 hours in a cell without bathroom, water and food

One of the protesters at Columbia University, who stand for the Palestinians and against Israel's war on Gaza, was a doctor who was arrested by New York security authorities and claims to have experienced inhumane conditions. Fernando Bobis, 42, a practicing internist based in Washington, D.C., was one of 282 protesters arrested by police when they raided Columbia University and City College of New York on April 30. According to the American newspaper New York Post, the doctor Fernando Bobis, was at Columbia University in order to demonstrate his opposition to Netanyahu's war on the Gaza Strip. However, he was arrested and found himself behind bars, with him declaring to reporters: “I was five and a half hours in a cell without a bathroom, without water and without food.
