Video captures the terrifying moment a man appears to be trying to grab a schoolgirl from the street, noon day. As if from a god machine, a woman appeared who realized the situation and saved the 11-year-old girl from would-be kidnappers. The woman intervened as she feared the child was about to be abducted from the street after hearing men asking her if she was alone.
In more detail, in the footage from the security camera provided by Daily Mail, show the 11-year-old girl talking to a man on a South East street London as he was leaving a store. The man seems to have been trying to convince her to leave together.
Maunil Patel, 35, who owns the shop the little girl visited, said the 11-year-old was a local resident and frequented his shop. “Two men I have never seen before entered the shop immediately afterwards. “The child she was looking around the store while the men were watching her closely what she was doing and maybe seeing if anyone was with her,” the owner said.
A woman is seen walking past the man and the girl, carrying a black shopping bag over her shoulder. He enters the store but looks at the girl just before entering.
The woman then walks out into the street and tells the man to leave, before motioning for the girl to join her in the store, where he called the police. The suspected would-be kidnapper, who is believed to have been with another man nearby, made off. Apparently, the woman had heard him asking the girl if she was alone, so she quickly intervened. “A woman in a long turquoise dress entered the store, but she glanced in their direction as she entered. She was obviously worried about what was going on.
A few seconds later she came out of the store and challenged the man. I heard her tell him she was going to call the police and asked the girl to come with her.
The girl, who was quite confused and scared, went with the woman inside the store. The man stayed there for a while but then walked away to the other side of the street,” added the shop owner.
Two men are wanted by the police.
