Two people died and one was injured after a shooting inside the Mercado Público do Cordeiro, in the west of Recife, in the early hours of Tuesday (3).
According to the Military Police of Pernambuco, one person died at the scene of the crime, two other victims were taken to the Getúlio Vargas Hospital (HGV), close to the scene of the incident.
According to the police, three people were hit by the shots: two men and one woman. One of the victims did not survive the injuries and died at the health unit. The other was taken to the red wing due to a gunshot wound to the leg. The names of the victims were not released by the police.
According to information from residents of the region, during the early hours of the morning, a car approached the location with men already shooting from inside the vehicle.

In a statement, PMPE reported that the area was isolated until the authorities arrived.
