The trailer for the second season of “Silo” was released this Monday (14) by AppleTV+. The new year of the science fiction series premieres on November 15th and will have new episodes released weekly until January 17th, 2025.
Based on the dystopian trilogy “Wool” by Hugh Howey, the plot follows the story of the last ten thousand people on Earth, living in a silo deep inside the planet, which protects them from the toxic and deadly world outside. No one knows when or why the silo was built, and anyone who tries to find out faces fatal consequences.
An engineer starts looking for answers about the murder of a friend and stumbles upon a mystery that goes far beyond what she could imagine, leading her to discover that, if lies don’t kill, the truth can be fatal.
The production stars Rebecca Ferguson (“Mission: Impossible”), Tim Robbins (“A Dream of Freedom”), Harriet Walter (“Killing Eve: Double Obsession”) and more. Steve Zahn (“The White Lotus”) joins the cast in the second season.
The first season has 10 episodes and is available on Apple’s streaming service.
