Silver Price Today: Silver falls, according to FXStreet data

Silver (XAG/USD) prices fell on Monday, according to data from FXStreet. Silver is trading at $28.13 per troy ounce, 0.14% less than the $28.17 it cost on Friday.

Silver prices have increased by 10.44% since the beginning of the year.

The Gold/Silver ratio, which shows the number of troy ounces of Silver needed to equal the value of one troy ounce of Gold, stood at 83.32 on Monday, down from 83.80 on Friday.

Some consider a high ratio to indicate that Silver is undervalued or Gold is overvalued, and may buy Silver or sell Gold accordingly. Conversely, a low ratio could suggest that Gold is undervalued relative to Silver.
