THE presenter Silvia Abravanel, 53, and singer Gustavo Moura 36, spoke about comments about the age difference and how they deal with internet reviews about your relationship.
In an exclusive interview with CNN she commented that “they talk badly about him, thinking that he is with me out of interest, but before he met me he had already had a 20-year career, his life was not based on Silvia Abravanel and what I have. People are very mean.”
Silvia joked that now they have adopted the idea that Gustavo will marry her to inherit a better health plan.
“I’m going to say this [do convênio] to people because they are very mean towards me and him. They judge a lot, […] They say that I’m too old for him, that he looks like my son and they talk badly about him, thinking he’s with me out of interest”, said the presenter.
Gustavo commented that he recently watched an interview with Ivete Sangalo talking about her relationship and was inspired by the singer’s statements about the age difference in her marriage, which has lasted 13 years.
“It’s such a normal thing these days to see an older man with a younger woman, or vice versa, and there’s no problem at all — the important thing is the respect, affection and love that the couple has. People’s judgment is so inappropriate”, commented the singer to CNN .
Regarding the comments made on the internet about the two, Gustavo said that Silvia is the one who cares most, but he advises her not to see and pay attention to this type of repercussion.
“I invite people to spend time with us because they don’t know what’s going on between the two of us and what we’ve experienced in the two and a half years we’ve been together. It seems like we’ve been there for much longer than two years and, if he’s with me at 53 and he’s at 36, let him stay”, commented Silvio Santos’ daughter.
And he continued: “For some things Gustavo is even older than me, I have a younger head”.
The singer and the presenter will get married in April 2025, in a country-style event — she said that she will be dressed as a bride, but wearing boots, just like her bridesmaids.
Silvia and Moura met in 2022, when the presenter heard a song by the country duo he is part of and started following the singer on social media.
