The premiere of the biopic of Silvio Santos has been postponed in theaters. The title about the presenter’s life, which was scheduled to premiere on September 5, now hits theaters on 12th of the same month.
The date change was not motivated by anything serious, just “better predictions about the release date”, quoted Imagem Filmes to CNN . This Tuesday (30), the film distributor also shared a video of the plot, starring Rodrigo Faro who returns to acting after 15 years. See:

The plot will show behind the scenes how the presenter had to fight to protect his family and his legacy while facing one of the most challenging moments of his life: the kidnapping that marked Brazil, according to the synopsis.
The title is directed by Marcelo Antunez, responsible for productions such as “Any Stray Cat 2” (2015), “A Lucky Suburbano” (2016), “Until Luck Do Us Part 3” (2015) and “Federal Police – The Law is for Everyone” (2017), who also collaborated on the script.
