Simulator shows what would happen if Putin dropped nukes – 34 million dead in five hours

Princeton University developed one simulatorwhich shows the terrifying effects that use would have nuclear by Vladimir Putinas he notes that in just five hours at least 34 million people will die.

As stated by dailymail.co.ukis a four-minute audio-visual material that it’s called “Plan A” and was developed by researchers affiliated with Princeton University’s Science and Global Security Program.

Nuclear explosion

Thus, he goes so far as to predict that 34.1 million people from all over the world will die within a few hours. At the same time, 55.9 million people will be injured by the nuclear conflict. However, the figures do not include subsequent deaths from nuclear fallout and other effects.

The nightmare scenario

This particular simulation starts at context of a conventional, non-nuclear conflict. According to the model, Russia fires warning shots from a base near Kaliningrad on the Black Sea to stop a US-NATO advance before the other side responds with a single tactical airstrike.

Subsequently, Russia sends 300 nuclear warheadswhich are transported either by aircraft or by short-range missiles, to NATO bases and troops advancing in Europe.

In such a case the Alliance would respond with 180 nuclear aircraft. At this stage, casualties are expected to reach around 2.6 million people within three hours and Europe is virtually destroyed.

The simulation video:

NATO will then act through the US fleet and nuclear submarines starting with a strategic nuclear strike with 600 warheads. Before its weapons systems are destroyed Russia will launch nukes from missile silos and submarines. In this case Plan A predicts that the war phase will last 45 minutes and at least 3.4 million people would die.

When the conflict enters in its final phase, the two sides will target each other’s 30 most populated areas and economic centers by deploying five to ten nuclear weapons each so as to prevent either side from recovering from the war. In such a case, at least 85.3 million people will die within 45 minutes.
