Singer Majur announces end of marriage with Amazonas: “Life is not just love”

Singer Majur announced the end of her marriage to choreographer Josué Amazonas this Monday (18). The two had been together for four years.

“In consideration of our history, our love over these 4 years and your love for us, we came to inform you that we have decided not to continue our relationship as a couple, at this moment in our lives”, says an excerpt from the post made on Instagram.

Afterwards, the artist recalled that despite the breakup, they do not have any type of regret, since everything was true.

“However, over the years we have observed each other, got to know each other and discovered that we have different dreams, and a great thirst to make them come true. We try very hard to be together to experience all of this, but, in the greatness of what we are for each one, we often find ourselves missing our own path”, he continued.

Still in the note, the artist noted that the two continue to maintain a good relationship and asked fans and internet users to respect the decision.

“[…] We love each other so much, but life is not just about love. You will still see us together, working, sometimes in the same place. Our respect and admiration remains for each other and for everything we have chosen so far. We ask for respect from you too, because it is not easy to be where we are now and all we need is peace, acceptance and love”, he concluded.

In the comments, friends of the ex-couple left messages of support. “May you be happy on your new journeys”, wished Didi Wagner. “My most beautiful sister, we are always here vibrating for your happiness”, wrote singer Gaby Amarantos.

Majur and Amazonas got engaged on June 28, 2021, LGBTQIA+ Pride Day, and got married civilly in August 2022. In September of the same year, they held a new ceremony, inspired by African origins, alongside friends and relatives.
