The lead singer of the band Calcinha Preta, Daniel Diau, said on his social networks that he needed stitches in the eye area after an accident during a weight training session in São Paulo (SP). This Monday (13), he published a video revealing that he is already well, but sent a message of caution to those who train frequently.
Diau did not reveal the exact location or date of the incident, but at the time he said that it was not more serious because he was wearing glasses at the time the iron bar hit his face. “Luckily I was wearing glasses and I believe that God placed his hand there at that moment. I got some stitches, but it didn’t affect my vision”, said the vocalist.
According to Diau, he didn’t realize that he had placed the bar in the wrong place and that’s why it tilted to the side and hit him. However, the accident did not prevent him from performing, on Saturday (11), in the state of Tocantins.
Days after revealing the accident, Diau returned to the networks to thank his fans for their love and stated that “it was just a scare”. In the caption, he wrote: “Passing by to thank our God for everything for keeping us safe and freeing us from all the weapons formed against us.”
The singer also left a recommendation for those who also train: “Have support from a personal trainer or someone to keep you company”. He once again excited the public for the recording of the band Calcinha Preta’s new DVD, called “Atemporal”, which will take place in Salvador (BA), on December 7th.
