Sisi condemns violence in Gaza and denies obstacles to humanitarian aid from Egypt

Egyptian President Abdel Fatah al -Sisi complained on Wednesday that a “starvation and genocide war” is evolving in Gaza, while rejecting the objections that his country is blocking the passage of humanitarian aid from the border. “The war that continues in Gaza is no longer a war to achieve political goals or to liberate hostages only,” Sisi said during a press conference with Vietnamese counterpart Luodang Quong. “This war has long overcome all logic or excuse and has become a lame and genocide war, as well as a means of exterminating the Palestinian issue,” he added.
