Two sisters report that they had a new motorcycle stolen shortly after leaving the dealership with the vehicle. The case occurred in the Santa Cruz neighborhood, in the west of the capital of Rio de Janeiro. According to them, the motorcycle cost R$34,000.

The victims stated that, when they arrived at Estrada da Pedra, close to the Vendas de Varanda BRT station, they were taken over by two criminals on another motorcycle. The motorcycle was driven by Priscila Dos Santos Cesário, 22 years old. Her sister, Cíntia, 38, was riding pillion. The crime occurred last week.

The robbers ordered them to enter another street. At that moment, Priscila reduced her speed, thinking that she would be filmed by a security camera that could identify the criminals.

When they entered the other street, the criminals took the motorcycle keys, a cell phone, both women’s wallets and documents such as identity and driver’s cards, as well as R$2,400 in cash. Two days later, one of the victims was able to identify purchases made on the virtual credit card she had on her phone. There were more than R$300 in purchases.

The motorcycle was stolen with instruction manual, spare key invoice and code. According to Priscila, the criminals were unable to take her phone because she ran.

The two sisters shared the reports on social media and asked for the collaboration of people who can provide images from security cameras from establishments in the region so that the police can locate the perpetrators of the crime.

The incident was registered at the 36th DP (Santa Cruz). The Civil Police informs that they are investigating the case.
