Registration for the Unified Selection System (Sisu) 2024 was opened this Monday (22). The platform is the gateway to federal universities and uses as a basis the score of the National High School Exam (Enem) of the year previous.
Registration will be open until 11:59 pm next Thursday (25th) and the Ministry of Education (MEC) expects the results to be announced on January 30th. The registration period will be between February 1st and 7th and the expression of interest on the waiting list will be from January 30th to February 7th. Registration is done at Single Portal for Access to Higher Education.
This year, according to the MEC, 264,360 places will be offered, distributed across 127 public higher education institutions across Brazil. The majority of vacancies available are at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ), with 9,240.
