Sisu 2024: registration ends today at 11:59 pm

The registration period for the Unified Registration System (Sisu) 2024 ends today, at 11:59 pm. The tool is the main gateway to public higher education institutions and, this year, offers a total of 264.3 thousand places .

Registration began last Monday (22) and the National Institute of Educational Studies and Research Anísio Teixeira (Inep) expects the results to be released next Monday (30).

Sisu uses candidates' grades in the National High School Exam (Enem) as a basis. The Enem 2023 result came out on January 16th.

How to sign up for Sisu

1) Access the Single Portal for Access to Higher Education. Click on “sign up” in the first of the four highlighted boxes (see image below).

2) Log in. It is necessary to use the gov.br portal registration. To do this, the candidate must provide their CPF and password.

3) Choice of course: the candidate can choose two undergraduate course options. It is possible to change options throughout the registration period. However, at the end of the period, the last registration made in the system is the one that counts. Interested parties must also select whether they are eligible for quota law vacancies.

4) Confirmation: after completing the previous procedures, a confirmation screen will be displayed and then a summary of the selected options

  • January 25th: registration ends
  • January 30th: results announced
  • February 1st to 7th: registration of those selected
  • January 30th to February 7th: expression of interest on the waiting list
