The Ministry of Education (MEC) releases this Tuesday (30) the results of those selected in the first call of the 2024 selection process of the Unified Selection System (Sisu).
There are, in total, 264,360 places available, distributed among 127 higher education institutions participating in the program.
Registration took place from the 22nd to the 25th of January and registrations take place from the 1st to the 7th of February. Between January 30th and February 7th, non-selected students must express an interest in joining the waiting list.
Sisu is an electronic system managed by the MEC for vacancies offered by public higher education institutions throughout Brazil.
The system selects students based on the average grade of the National High School Exam (Enem) up to the limit of vacancies available, by course and type of competition, according to the choices of registered candidates and the socioeconomic profile for Quota Law.
