The first call for the Unified Selection System (Sisu) 2023 will be released this Tuesday (28), on the official website of the selection process. To access it, it is necessary to use the Gov.br account.
226,399 vacancies will be offered in 128 public universities throughout Brazil, including 63 federal ones. To participate in the selection, the score of the National High School Examination (Enem) is used, and it is necessary not to have completed the essay.
The system had 1,073,024 subscribers, an increase of 1.8% compared to the same edition of the previous year, which had 1,054,474 registered. In total, there were 2,062,815 applications for vacancies — considering that each student can choose two course options.
Enrollments must be made by candidates between March 2nd and 8th at the institution where they were selected. It is up to the universities to indicate days, times and places for the attendance of students.
Waiting list
Sisu has a single call, but it is possible to sign up for the waiting list. This can be done between February 28th and March 8th.
The candidate must indicate only one of the two courses previously chosen. If there is a vacancy and all legal and regulatory requirements are correct, then enrollment can be made.
Those who are selected by either of the two educational institution options will not be able to apply for the waiting list, even if they have not completed the enrollment or academic registration.
The publication of the remaining vacancies for the waiting list will be made by the educational institutions themselves.
