Sixaxis Compatibility Checker – This application is an add-on for Sixaxis Controller and allows you to check the compatibility of your device with the following controllers before purchasing the full application.
PlayStation 3:
- Sixaxis Controller
- DualShock® 3 Wireless Controller
- PlayStation® Move Navigation Controller
PlayStation 4:
- DualShock® 4 Wireless Controller (When pairing on a PC, you need to use SixaxisPairTool 0.3.0+)
IMPORTANT
- ROOT access required!
- Internet access permission is only required to collect basic device compatibility information to improve future support.
- Due to the way the controllers are paired, you need to manually pair your controller using the ‘SixaxisPairTool’ PC utility (available online) and a mini-USB cable. Android 3.1+ users can also pair directly on their devices via USB.
- It is highly recommended to use the ORIGINAL controller. Many aftermarket controllers will not work. If you’re getting “Client Connected: 1” but the lights on your controller keep flashing, it’s almost certainly not a genuine Sony controller.
- Counterfeit controllers most likely to work (although not guaranteed) are made by Gasia. If you have bought a counterfeit that works, but is not made by Gasia, I will be happy to get information from you in order to compile a list of known working controllers.
