The Czech auto giant SKODA announced the launch of an updated family SUV KODIAQ on the Russian market. It will go on sale in Russia this fall, according to the official press release from SKODA AUTO Russia.
According to the Russian office of the automaker, the updated SKODA KODIAQ will debut on the domestic market three years after the launch of the production of this model in Russia. The car will appear in the showrooms of the official dealers of the brand in Russia in the fall. Prices for the restyled SKODA KODIAQ start at 1,961,000 rubles. For this amount, the buyer will receive an Active-trimmed SUV with a 1.4-liter TSI engine, manual gearbox and front-wheel drive. The manufacturer promised to disclose more detailed information about the available trim levels and prices for the updated model in September.
The restyled version of the SKODA KODIAQ shows an emotional and dynamic look with a raised, sculpted bonnet, a new radiator grille, tighter headlights and alloy wheels up to 20 inches in diameter. In addition, the car stands out for its improved aerodynamic performance and expanded equipment. Already in the database, buyers will receive fully LED optics, foglights, a multifunction steering wheel with leather braiding, a Maxi Dot color display, dual-zone climate control, heated front seats and a modern Swing multimedia system with 8 speakers and Bluetooth support. The Bolero audio system and the SmartLink wireless system are available as options. In addition, the car will be available for order in a seven-seater version.
The assembly of the updated SKODA SUV will be carried out at the production facilities of the brand’s plant in Nizhny Novgorod. This will be a full-cycle manufacturing (CDK), not just a large-scale assembly.
