Skoda Auto and BelkaCar have launched a long-term car rental service in Russia called Smart Drive. Initially, a subscription can be issued for the all-wheel drive versions of the Karoq and Kodiaq crossovers in the Ambition configuration, and then for other models of the Czech brand.
Skoda Smart Drive service will operate on a fixed monthly fee model. At the first stage, the company’s clients will be able to rent a new car and use it for one year. All issues related to registration with the traffic police, insurance, transport tax and technical inspection are undertaken by Skoda. In addition, the company’s customers will also receive a set of winter tires with free replacement, roadside assistance and repairs. You can still subscribe in Moscow, then the service will start working in other regions. Moreover, it is allowed to use a car throughout Russia. In the future, Skoda plans to expand not only the model range, but also tariff plans, including the ability to rent a car for a shorter period.
As for the Karoq and Kodiaq, these are all-wheel drive vehicles with turbocharged 1.4 TSI engines (150 hp) and a robotic 6-speed DSG gearbox. The first model is an urban crossover and the second is a family SUV. Both – with a spacious interior, a spacious trunk and a high level of equipment. Karoq is offered by subscription for 45,500 rubles per month, and Kodiaq – for 65,000 rubles per month. You can subscribe to the service on the official website of the company.
