Slovakian Prime Minister Robert Fičo cited similarities he says he sees between the attack on Donald Trump and the one he himself was a victim of about two months ago. “A script like a photocopy,” 59-year-old Fico, who was shot four times while greeting supporters after a cabinet meeting in a central Slovakian town, wrote on his website. Fitzo underwent surgery and returned to duty last week. Fico accused the Slovak opposition of fomenting hatred against him. “If the perpetrator of the attack on Donald Trump spoke Slovak, it would be enough for him to read the (local) newspapers Dennik N, Sme or Aktuality, to get the desire to fix things,” he commented. “Trump’s political opponents are trying to silence him, and when they don’t succeed, they enrage the public so much that a bad guy grabs his gun,” claimed the Slovak prime minister.
