One small plane crashed during a test flight at the municipal airport of Primavera do Leste, in Mato Grosso, on Monday afternoon (16). The aircraft suffered damage to the landing gear, propeller and fuselage, no one was injured.
According to the Mato Grosso Military Fire Department (CBMMT), the accident occurred around 5:30 pm on Monday. The incident took place at the municipal airport of Primavera do Leste, located 234.3 km from Cuiabá.
The CBMMT team was called immediately after the incident. Upon arriving at the scene, firefighters found the aircraft damaged, with significant damage to the landing gear and fuselage. The pilot was already out of the aircraft and only had a few scratches.

The pilot reported to the firefighters that he was carrying out a test flight after a mechanical review of the aircraft. The exact cause of the accident is still being investigated by the competent authorities, but the suspicion is that a possible mechanical failure occurred during takeoff.
In a statement, the firefighters reported that they did not find any risk of fire and that the pilot did not need medical attention. The pilot, despite being scared, refused further treatment and was released at the scene.

Another small plane crashed in the city of Apiacás, in the interior of Mato Grosso, on August 15th.
The aircraft took off from a guesthouse on the banks of the Teles Pires River and crashed after about 50 minutes of flight.
According to the PM, six people were on the aircraft, which took off from a hotel and crashed near the border between Mato Grosso and Pará. No one survived.
