In recent years, smartphone charging speed has become a stumbling block: manufacturers are trying in every possible way to increase it, but users, apparently, are not particularly happy with this trend and, judging by the comments, want more improvements in autonomy and durability. In this regard, the news about the upcoming release of the first smartphone with 240-watt charging, Realme GT Neo5, has become quite discussed. However, the president of the Chinese branch of Realme Xu Qi seems to have substantiated the need to use such technology with just one sentence.
According to him, a 240-watt power supply is enough to power a completely discharged smartphone in just 30 seconds so that its battery charge is enough to watch an hour-long video. At the same time, it will take less than 10 minutes to fully charge the smartphone (however, he did not name the battery capacity).
The presentation of Realme GT Neo5 will take place on February 9, then all the details will be revealed.
