THE Paramount Pictures Brazil released this Tuesday (3) the new trailer for “Smile 2 “, sequel to the horror film that was a box office hit in 2022.
The film hits Brazilian theaters on October 17. The first film, “He used to smile “, is available for streaming on Netflix .
In the plot, pop singer Skye Riley (Naomi Scott from “Aladdin “) is about to embark on a world tour when she begins to experience terrifying and inexplicable experiences. Overcome by horror and the pressure of fame, she is forced to confront her past in order to regain control of her life before it is too late.
In addition to Scott, the film also features Luke Gage (“The White Lotus “), Dylan Gelula (“The Dream Man “), Rosemarie DeWitt (“La La Land – Singing the Seasons “) and Raul Castillo (“Looking “) in the cast.
Parker Finn who is also responsible for the first film, returns to direct and write the script for the sequel.
