“We are deepening our strikes in Lebanon, the actions will continue until we achieve our goal of returning the residents of the north safely to their homes,” Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Gallant said in a video released by his office on Monday.
The latest attacks came amid some of the most intense gunfire in nearly a year of conflict, which runs parallel to the war between Israel and Hamas in Gaza.
Earlier, Israeli army spokesman Avichay Adraee said airstrikes on homes in Lebanon where “Hezbollah has hidden weapons” were imminent.
