In Russia, only recently began selling smartphones Honor 50, and in China today officially presented Honor 60. The series has two models – actually Honor 60 based on SoC Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G and Honor 60 Pro – the world’s first smartphone based on a single-chip Snapdragon 778G Pro system. And even if this SoC is just a little faster than the usual Snapdragon 778G, the fact remains.
The smartphones are equipped with 6.78-inch OLED screens with 100% DCI-P3 color space coverage and built-in fingerprint scanners. The Honor 60 Pro’s screen is also HDR10 + certified. Resolutions vary: Honor 60 – 2400 x 1080 pixels, Honor 60 Pro – 2652 x 1200 pixels. The frame rate in both cases is 120 Hz.
A 4800 mAh battery has become the standard for this series, and 66W fast wired charging is supported: smartphones are fully charged in 45 minutes. Also in the configuration are stereo speakers, NFC modules, Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.2, three microphones each, Magic UI 5.0 interface based on Android 11.
Honor 60 received a 32-megapixel front camera and a main camera with three modules: 108 megapixels with a wide-angle lens, 8 megapixels with an ultra-wide-angle lens and 2 megapixels for scene depth analysis.
The cameras on the Honor 60 Pro look more interesting. Front – 50MP 1 / 2.86 ” optical format sensor with 100 ° ultra wide angle lens, rear – 108MP 1 / 1.52 ” optical format sensors with wide angle lens, 50MP with ultra wide angle lens view of 122 ° and shooting macro and 2 megapixels.
Dimensions and weight of Honor 60 – 161.4 x 73.3 x 7.98 mm and 179 grams, Honor 60 Pro – 163.9 x 74.8 x 8.19 mm and 192 grams.
The prices have already been announced and they look like this:
- Honor 60: 8/128 GB – $ 425, 8/256 GB – $ 470, 12/256 GB – $ 520;
- Honor 60 Pro: 8/256 GB – $ 580, 12/256 GB – $ 625.
New items from today are available for pre-order in China. Retail sales will start on December 10th.
