Just earlier this week, Nubia started selling the Red Magic 7 smartphone in China, and now the manufacturer has announced the global version of the device and promised to deliver the Red Magic 7 Pro in the second quarter of 2022.
The Nubia Red Magic 7 has one key difference from its Chinese twin – it supports 65W fast charging instead of 120W, but all other specs remain the same.
The Red Magic 7’s 6.8-inch AMOLED screen is 1080p, delivers 100% DCI-P3 color gamut coverage, and a 165Hz refresh rate, with a touch sampling rate of up to 720Hz. It is equipped with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 single-chip system. The smartphone received a 4500 mAh battery and a 64-megapixel camera.
The phone is offered in three memory combinations, each with a unique name and color. The most affordable one is called Obsidian and comes in black with 12GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. The price is $629 / €629 / £529. Then there’s the colorful blue-red-purple Pulsar with 16GB/256GB of storage and a $729/€729/£619 price tag. The 18GB/256GB version of the Supernova with a translucent back is priced at $799/€799/£679.
In the US and Europe, the smartphone will appear on March 10.
