Black Shark is announcing the Black Shark 5 series of smartphones on March 30th. We already know that Black Shark 5 and Black Shark 5 Pro will be built on the Snapdragon 870 and Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 platforms, respectively. The company has now confirmed the battery capacity and fast charging capabilities of the Black Shark 5 series.
As seen in the poster, the Black Shark 5 line will be equipped with a 4650 mAh battery. It looks like the Black Shark 5 and 5 Pro can have the same capacity battery. Both devices are expected to support 120W fast charging. The poster also points to the use of an under-screen camera and very narrow screen bezels.
The Black Shark 5 series will feature physical buttons for gaming. The company also revealed that the Black Shark 5 line will support 720Hz touch sampling rates and offer a 15% improvement in touch response speed.

Past reports have claimed that the Black Shark 5 and 5 Pro will feature a 6.67-inch Full HD+ AMOLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate and an in-display fingerprint scanner. The Black Shark 5 Pro is expected to have up to 16GB of RAM and up to 512GB of onboard storage. For photography, it can be equipped with a 108-megapixel triple camera and a 13-megapixel front camera.
On the other hand, the Black Shark 5 will also feature a 6.67-inch FHD+ 120Hz AMOLED display with an in-display fingerprint scanner. The device will be equipped with up to 12 GB of RAM and up to 256 GB of internal flash memory. It can contain a triple camera with a resolution of 64 MP and a front camera of 13 MP.
