Fresh rumors indicate that the Xiaomi Mi Pad 5 lineup will have three models that will be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 870, Snapdragon 860 and Snapdragon 7-series SoCs. Earlier it was reported that the Xiaomi Mi Pad 5 lineup will have two models built on the Snapdragon 870 and Dimensity 1200 platforms.
The Snapdragon 860 is expected to be an improved version of the Snapdragon 855 Plus. This platform will be manufactured using a 7-nanometer manufacturing process, it has a three-cluster architecture (1 + 3 + 4), a large Kryo 485 core and supports fifth-generation networks. The characteristics of the Snapdragon 7-series in the younger version of the Xiaomi Mi Pad 5 have not yet been disclosed.
Sources confirm that Xiaomi Mi Pad 5 will receive an 11-inch LCD display with a resolution of 2560 x 1600 pixels with support for a refresh rate of 120 Hz and a refresh rate of a touch layer of 240 Hz. It supports a stylus and recognizes 4096 degrees of pressure.
Xiaomi Mi Pad 5 will be running MIUI for Pad, which supports multi-screen collaboration on multiple devices, PC mode and other features.
The presentation of the Xiaomi Mi Pad 5 is expected this summer.
