Snapdragon 898 is inferior in performance to GPU platforms Exynos 2200 and Apple A15 Bionic

The results of testing the new SoC Snapdragon 898 in the GFXBench test have appeared. GPU results were 158.4 fps in Manhattan 3.1 scene, 112.7 fps in Aztec Ruins and 43.1 fps in Aztec Ruins (High).

These results indicate that the GPU in the Snapdragon 898 is not as good as the GPU in the Apple A15 and Samsung Exynos 2200. However, the thermal stability of the Adreno GPU is better, and the performance in the second round of the test drops by 20%. At the same time, the performance of the Exynos 2200 is reduced by 25%, and the Apple A15 – by 35%.
