If Nubia installed as many as three 64-megapixel sensors in last year’s flagship Z30 Pro, then in the new flagship Z40 Pro there is only one sensor of such a high resolution. And it’s a brand new Sony IMX787 sensor paired with a 35mm stabilized lens. And you can already appreciate the examples of photos taken by this tandem.
Now it has become known that in addition to the 64-megapixel sensor, the Nubia Z40 Pro uses sensors with a resolution of 50 and 8 megapixels. The first is connected to an ultra wide-angle lens, the second is part of a periscope module that provides 5x optical zoom.
The official premiere of Nubia Z40 Pro will take place on February 25th. Earlier, the company announced that the smartphone is built on the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC. We also already wrote that this particular model will become the world’s first Android flagship with support for wireless magnetic charging like the iPhone.
