Nubia surprised many by announcing its Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 flagship Z40 Pro. And it’s not at all using the new 64-megapixel IMX787 sensor jointly developed by Sony, but in a 35mm lens.

Firstly, the optics itself promises to be very high quality (according to the developers), and secondly, now there are no flagships, the main sensor of which is connected to a lens with a focal length of more than 28 mm, while in Nubia Z40 Pro it is 35 mm . What this combination is capable of is clearly demonstrated by the images below.

The developers have confirmed the use of the MyOS 12 interface based on Android 12 in the smartphone with various improvements, including in terms of security. The battery capacity of the smartphone was 4200 mAh, the maximum charging power is 120 watts. Also, Nubia Z40 Pro will be the first mass-produced Android smartphone with wireless magnetic charging, like the iPhone.
