SoC MediaTek Dimensity 9000 is ahead of Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 and Exynos 2200, and also tries to compete with Apple A15. New test results are out

New test results of the flagship smartphone Redmi K50 Pro +, which is based on the MediaTek Dimensity 9000 single-chip system, have appeared in the popular Geekbench test application. The source was a well-known network informant under the nickname Ice Universe, who often shares exclusive information about the latest in the mobile industry.

In recent testing, the Redmi K50 Pro+ smartphone scored 1309 points in single-threaded mode and 4546 points in multi-core test. For comparison, the Exynos 2200 in the Galaxy S22 scored 1157 and 3307 respectively. The Google Tensor SoC in the Pixel 6 Pro only managed 1042 and 2832 points in the same tests. Redmi K50 Gaming Edition based on SoC Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 scores 1240 and 3645 respectively. We have already published a comparison with this platform.

So far, the Apple A15 Bionic remains the only single-chip system that outperforms the Dimensity 9000 with a single-core score of 1734 and a multi-core score of 4818.

The presentation of the Redmi K50 line is expected on March 17.
