The authoritative publication Tom’s Hardware has published the first test results of an unknown Samsung Exynos single-chip system, which is equipped with an AMD Radeon graphics processor. Testing was conducted using the popular GFXBench benchmark, which is used to determine the graphics performance of the platform. For comparison, the results of the Apple A14 Bionic and the iPhone 12 Pro are shown.
Samsung’s new flagship SoC Exynos achieved 181.8 fps in the Manhattan 3.1 test. In Aztec Normal and Aztec High School, the results were 138.25 and 58 fps, respectively. The Apple A14 Bionic scores 146.4, 79.8 and 30.5 fps, respectively.

Back in 2019, Samsung entered into a cooperation agreement with AMD and received permission to use proprietary GPU technology, which will be integrated into the new SoCs of the Exynos family. This year, AMD GPUs will be used in smartphones for the first time.
It is not yet known what name Samsung will choose for the new SoC, which should replace the Exynos 2100.
