Dubai is recognized as the absolute leader, leading the list of the most crypto-friendly countries with a score of 79 points. A favorable regulatory environment has been created in the country, preferential taxes and other incentive conditions have been introduced for registering or creating a group of crypto companies in the region. By October, the total number of registered companies in Dubai exceeded 550, including industry leaders Binance and Chainalysis.
Next comes Switzerland, which scored 74.5 points out of 100 possible. The number of companies registered in the country operating in the field of cryptocurrencies is 900. An important role in the success of Switzerland was played by the government of the country, which announced its intention to make it a “cryptostate”.
The third place among the leaders is occupied by South Korea, which is recognized as one of the fastest growing crypto hubs in the world – the country received a rating score of 73.5 points.
Russia, which made significant changes and joined the race of crypto-centers, was also included in the rating of countries friendly to cryptocurrency business. The country ranked eighth with 67 points, having more than 70 registered headquarters of large crypto companies on its territory.
Earlier, Kyle Shneps, director of public policy at the mining company Foundry, said that the adoption of an aggressive US policy towards mining companies will force them to relocate to the Middle East.
