A 34-year-old woman was stabbed to death in a bar in the city of Betim, in Minas Gerais, on Saturday (22). The crime was the outcome of a fight that started on social media, according to the 42-year-old suspect in the murder, confessed to the Military Police of Minas Gerais.
According to the PM, the woman claimed that she started walking with a knife on her waist through the streets of the Petrovale neighborhood after the virtual misunderstanding to reach the victim.
Around 7 pm on Saturday, police officers received information about the homicide and headed to the crime scene. The victim was participating in a get-together at the bar and was rescued by her sister, who would have witnessed part of the attacks, and by her brother-in-law.
The woman was taken to a hospital in the Guanabara neighborhood, about 15 minutes from the crime scene. According to the doctor who provided the first care, she arrived with perforations in her right arm, wrist, right forearm, chest, left shoulder and left arm.
Despite medical help, the victim could not resist and ended up dying.
The fight would have started because the victim complained on Facebook after buying a bread with ticks at the bakery where the suspect worked. In response, the suspect said that she would call the police and warned that the situation would not stay that way.
