SYRIZA-PS President Socrates Famellos paid a visit to Ramala yesterday, where he had a series of contacts with leading Palestinian officials. Specifically, he met with Palestinian Authority Vice President Hussein al-Sieich, Dr. Varsen Laobekian Sahin, Minister of State responsible for foreign affairs and dispersions, as well as with the President of the Palestinian National Council. Socrates Famellos stressed that it was a “honor and privilege” for him that he was in Palestine and expressed the support of both the party and the whole Greek people in Palestine. He pointed out that what is happening is a blatant violation of international law by Israel and a stigma for all humanity, while stressing that the genocide should be stopped immediately.
