Sofia, Gugu’s daughter, pays tribute to her father after 4 years of death: ‘I miss you so much’

Sofia Liberato, 19, daughter of presenter Gugu, used social media this Monday (20) and opened up about the four years since her father’s death. Presenter Augusto Liberato died as a result of a fall in which he hit his head on November 20, 2019, in Orlando, United States.

The young woman published a photo on Instagram, in which she appears alongside her father and twin sister, Marina.

“Today marks 4 years since you went to live with our God. The longing is great, but what remains are the unforgettable memories that we all lived together! I love you so much, beautiful papis,” she wrote.

The presenter’s daughter was not the only one who used social media to remember Gugu and vent about the four years since the presenter’s death. Rose Miriam Di Matteo, who was married to the presenter and had three children with him, also used social media to pay tribute to Gugu Liberato.

“Angel, today, my dear, marks four years since you left for Glory. We miss each other a lot at countless moments in our lives, but I hope in God that we will meet in eternity! We love you so much, beautiful daddy!”, she captioned, in a photo with the presenter and her children Sofia, Marina and João Augusto.

Presenter Gugu died after an accident at home

Presenter Augusto Liberato, aged 60 at the time, suffered a fall and hit his head on November 20, 2019, in Orlando, United States, in the house where he lived. Brain death was confirmed two days later.

With the presenter’s death, a legal battle began. This is because, in his will, Gugu left 75% of his assets, estimated at R$1 billion, to his three children and the remaining 25% to his five nephews. The presenter’s sister, Aparecida Liberato, was defined as an inventor.

Rose Miriam then went to court with a process to recognize her stable union with Gugu. The Liberato family claims that he left a mansion and a sum of money to the mother of his three heirs. She denies receiving it.

If the court recognizes the stable union, Rose Miriam will be entitled to half of Gugu’s inheritance. The other 50% would be divided between the couple’s three children.
