Soigo reappearance: NATO warns that if it sends planes to Ukraine, then Russia will respond

The Russian Minister of Defense, Sergei Shoigu, who has been rumored to be “missing” for daysappeared on Tuesday (29/3) to make statements during a televised meeting, noting that Ukraine’s military capabilities have been severely reduced and that the main objectives of the first phase of Russia’s military operation in Ukraine have been achieved.

He warned NATO that the main goal was “the liberation of Donbass”.

Speaking to officials during a televised meeting, Sergei Shoigu also warned that Russia would respond appropriately if NATO supplied Ukraine with aircraft and air defense systems.

Accuses US of ‘cyber attack’

Meanwhile, the Russian Foreign Ministry today accused the US of that lead a massive cyber operation on a daily basis targeting Russian state institutions and stressed that he would find those responsible for the “cyber attack”.

“There is no doubt that the cyber-attack launched against Russia will have serious consequences for its instigators and perpetrators,” the ministry said in a statement.

“The sources of the attacks will be identified and the perpetrators will inevitably be held accountable for their actions in accordance with the law,” he added.
