A special royal jewelry is sold at auction. Bracelet with 1925 Cartier Pearls and Diamonds, worn by Princess Margarita of the United Kingdom for her 19th birthday portrait, photographed by Cecil Beaton, will be auctioned on September 14 by Dix Noonan Webb the RES.
The Art Deco jewelry was originally sold at auction “The Princess Margaret, Countess of Snowdon, Volume I: Jewelery and Fabergé” organized by Christie’s. The bracelet with double row of pearls and platinum clasp, has an “M” engraved for the name Margaret and a stamp “M” (Mikimoto, Japanese pearl company) and “P” (platinum).
