Liu Zuohu, founder and CEO of OnePlus (Liu Zuohu) announced today that OnePlus 9 series smartphones will not be sent to DxOMark lab for testing.
DxOMark is primarily known for its camera benchmarks. Over the past year, the laboratory began evaluating not only the main cameras of smartphones, but also front cameras, and then began testing the sound capabilities and screens of smartphones.
Many smartphone manufacturers use DxOMark results during their smartphone presentations to showcase their photography capabilities. Many users rely on these ratings when choosing the best camera phones. Recently, however, more and more information has appeared that DxOMark estimates are biased and paid for.

The Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra recently scored just 121 points, behind last year’s Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra, as well as the Honor 30 Pro +, iPhone 11 Pro Max, Huawei Mate 30 Pro 5G, iPhone 12 mini, iPhone 12 and Honor V30 Pro.
The main camera of the OnePlus 9, which was built with Hasselblad, includes Sony IMX789 and Sony IMX766 image sensors. Over the past three years, OnePlus has invested over $ 150 million in mobile imaging technology.
The OnePlus 9 presentation will take place on March 23, 2021.
