Soltz warning: Russia’s military action against Ukraine will have high costs

“If there is military action, it will have high costs,” the German Chancellor once again warned Moscow. Olaf Solts, referring to the possibility of her attack Russia in Ukraine, stressing, at the same time, that efforts are currently focused on avoid escalation of tension, a message that Berlin and the previous period had sent.

When the time is right, there will be agreement on the specific measures to be taken, Mr. Soltz noted after the first “government day” of his term. Necessary preparations are already being made between the Western powers, he added.

“But now, all efforts must be aimed at de-escalation”, he pointed out and, answering a relevant question, rejected once again the possibility of delivery of weapons to Ukraine, as broadcast by APE BPE.

Similar statements, approx sanctions, have been made by EU, the NATO and USA.

At the same time, the troops of a number of western countries are on the move – among them Spain, Denmark, Sweden, the Baltic countries etc. – which are trying to send to Russia, which they accuse of large concentration military force on its border with Ukraine, the message security issues over the territory of Kiev will be answered in a unified manner.
