A further €1.4 billion in military aid from Western partners to Ukraine was announced earlier today by Chancellor Olaf Solz, welcoming Volodymyr Zelensky to the Chancellery. “With the support of our partners, Denmark, Belgium and Norway, we will deliver to Ukraine by the end of the year additional military equipment worth about 1.4 billion euros,” said Mr Solz, referring to Iris air defense systems- T and Skynex, Gepard anti-aircraft systems, tanks and armored personnel carriers, personnel carriers, drones and ammunition.
