With the beginning of preparations for Carnival 2025, the SP League in partnership with the record label Radar Records, released the album “Sound of Avenue 2024” with 33 songs captured live directly from the Anhembi Sambadrome, in the north of São Paulo, during this year's parades.
The project, which is now available on digital platforms, features theme songs from the main schools of the Special Group, such as Mocidade, Dragões, Tatuapé, Gaviões, Mancha, Império, Tucuruvi, Vai-Vai, Barroca, Águia de Ouro, in addition to those that stand out in the Access Group.
This year, Mocidade Alegre was the great champion of Carnival 2024 in São Paulo, winning its 12th title. This feat made it the second school with the most victories in the Special Group, as Vai-Vai leads with 15 titles.
This last Saturday (18), the order of the 2025 parades was defined at Fábrica do Samba, in the north zone of the capital of São Paulo. Unlike the last two years, the sequence was not established by draw, but by choosing schools from of their positions in the 2024 parades.
