Some of the hostages freed from Gaza so far under a ceasefire deal have been held in Hamas tunnels for up to eight months straight, without seeing the light of day and with little human contact, a senior Israeli official said today. Three Israeli civilians and four female soldiers have so far been released in the ceasefire, which began on January 19.
