Something moves below the surface of Aphrodite – how it affects the story of the Earth

Mysterious almost circular features on the surface of Aphrodite may indicate that the planet has active tectonic activity, according to new scientific research. Although the findings are recent, the data used to discover them come from NASA and are over 30 years old, as they were collected from the Magellan mission. This behavior resembles that of Earth’s tectonic plates, which are huge parts of the bark moving on a viscous interior and constantly alter the surface of the planet. Aphrodite has no tectonic plates, but the researchers argue that its surface is affected by melted material below it.
