At the end of March 2021, the wreckage of SpaceX’s Falcon 9 rocket was found in rural areas of the northeastern American state of Washington. The local newspaper tri-cityherald.com writes about it.
According to the newspaper, on the evening of March 25, residents of the remote centers of civilization in the US region noticed flaming “meteorites” in the sky. One of them – a rocket high-pressure tank with a composite shell – fell on a farm in Grant County, leaving a dent up to 10 cm deep.
SpaceX representatives confirmed to local police that this is still part of the second stage of their rocket, which was not in the best way de-orbited (its fragments should not have fallen in the area).

After most of the company’s launches from the US Space Coast in Florida, the second stage is sunk in the ocean south of Australia; with polar launches, which are more often carried out from California, in another area.
