The Realme C2 smartphone debuted in the first half of 2019. It became the cheapest and best-selling Realme smartphone at the time. It comes with ColorOS 6 skin based on Android 9.0 Pie.

In May 2020, Realme promised that an update to Android 10 would be rolled out for the Realme C2 as well. By the end of 2020, the company was expected to transfer its bestseller to the Realme UI shell with Android 10. However, this only happened now. Beta testing has been conducted since September, and now stable firmware has begun to come to ordinary users, and not just to test participants.

The firmware is 2.1 GB in size for Android 9 Pie devices and 164 MB for those who have previously tested Realme UI 1.0. At the moment it is available to a small number of users. The distribution is expected to expand its reach in the coming days.

In the official Russian online store Realme, the Realme C2 smartphone is on sale now – at a price of 6,990 rubles.
