Tokyo-based S.BLOX will support Sony Group’s dedicated divisions to expand the corporation’s capabilities in the cryptocurrency trading market. As part of the rebranding, the S.BLOX team will conduct an in-depth update of the user interface, as well as launch new extensions that improve its functionality and convenience for customers.
Sony Group noted that the transnational corporation is interested in taking a leading position in the developing Japanese digital asset market. To this end, the company has already invested in a number of national cryptocurrency startups, and since 2018 has been supporting scientific research in the field of blockchain with its own divisions Sony Blockchain Solutions.
