Sony PlayStation Network users have encountered problems launching games, applications and network functions.
Sony’s official PlayStation Network health tracking page confirms that “some services are broken”. The crash affected the part of the PlayStation Network that is responsible for games and social networks. The failure is observed all over the world, including in Russia. The problems appeared on February 27, 2021 at 2:33 am Moscow time and continue to this day.
Sony reports:
You may be having difficulty launching games, applications, or network features. We are trying to fix this problem as soon as possible. Thank you for your patience. “
Problems are observed among users of the Sony PlayStation Vita, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 game consoles.
Interestingly, the Sony PlayStation Network crash started the day after Microsoft Xbox Live had been down for five hours.
